Machine23 (m23) Policies for Data Collection, Storage, Processing and Usage This policy covers the information processed by products and features offered by Machine23. Information Collected Machine23 collects, stores and processes information about machines and the people and companies that make, own and service machines. Information collected depends on the way machine23 is used. Communications and other information is collected by m23 when you use our products. Sign up information, content sharing, messaging and communications between people and machines contain text and images that are scanned by m23. Meta data collected and generated by processing data is used by m23 and may become permanently imbedded in the system. Network connections provide information to m23 about people, machines, pages, accounts, hashtags, and other information during uploads, syncing, importing from devices, SMS messaging and log history. M23 collects information about products and materials used by members, how they are used and when they are used. If m23 is used to purchase or sell products or services, payment, billing, shipping, and contact details are collected. M23 analyzes content collected from communications including information about people, machines, and services. Examples include how machines are designed, built, serviced, repaired, and upgraded. This information analyzed and used to improve the m23 service. Machine Information M23 collects information about machines and those who design, build, own, service and recycle them. Information includes, manufacturer numbers, serial numbers, vehicle identification numbers, hull numbers, boat and aircraft registration numbers, registration numbers, part numbers, identifiable markings, codes, operating systems, and software systems. Unique identifiers are collected such as device id’s and attributes. Data from device settings, networks and connections are collected, such as Bluetooth, GPS, wifie, beacons, cell towers, AIS signals. Cookie data is stored on your machines for the purposes of facilitating the features of the m23 products and services. Partners, advertisers, app developers, publishers, manufacturers, and service agents may send m23 information about actions and activities of machines and people. It is required that our partners have the lawful right to collect, use and share your data as required. We use the information we have to provide the m23 products and services to members and users. This information is stored, processed, and used to establish a perpetual cloud presence for machines. People who design, create, manufacture, own, service and recycle machines contribute information that facilitates the m23 service. Deleting Information Members may access, rectify, port or erase data. They may remove themselves as members and their contributions to streams, posts and media is deleted. Machine data may be retained and used by m23. This includes but is not limited to messages, text, photos, video and identification numbers and marks recorded by m23 from systems and members.
